How workspace signup and billing works

Choose a workspace plan

Self-serve signup starts with Starter, Growth, or Agency. Enterprise begins with a demo request.

Create the workspace admin account

The first user creates the workspace, verifies their email, and becomes the billing admin.

Complete Stripe checkout

After sign-in, Hermes routes the admin to Billing to activate the selected plan. Starter, Growth, and Agency begin billing immediately after Stripe checkout completes.

Invite teammates later

Invited users do not choose a plan and do not complete a separate billing flow. They join the existing workspace directly.

Common pricing questions

Do you charge by prompt or token?

No. The product is designed around structured workflows and operational usage rather than chat-style consumption.

Do I need a separate local runtime for every project?

No. A single local runtime node can support multiple projects, depending on your setup and plan.

Can I start small and upgrade later?

Yes. Most teams start with Starter or Growth, then upgrade as they add users, projects, and local nodes.

When do invited users choose a plan?

They do not. Invited users join the existing workspace that invited them and use the billing already attached to that workspace.

Does Starter begin charging immediately?

Yes. Starter activates immediately after Stripe checkout completes because the free trial is currently turned off for this environment.

Can I cancel without losing access immediately?

Yes. Canceling turns off auto-renewal at the end of the current billing period. Until that date, the workspace keeps running normally and can still be resumed before renewal.
